V místech Fagradalsfjall nám dne 19. 03. 2021 započala velmi očekávaná erupce. Magma se prodralo na povrch, od teď je lávou.
Magma se ukrývalo po delší dobu přibližně 1 km pod povrchem, hodně se přemísťovalo a hledalo vhodný bod, kde by se mohlo dostat ven. Mnoho dotázaných osob z oboru v rámci natáčení pro BBC NEWS zmínilo, že netuší, zda bude vlastně nějaké varování od Matky Přírody, že situace započne. Vypadá to totiž, že tato erupce nastane i bez většího otřesu. Jak se předem varovalo, tak se i stalo.
V době, kdy jsem se to dozvěděla
Když jsem ráno 20. 03. 2021 vstávala před budíkem sama od sebe v 05:54 místního času, vzala jsem telefon do ruky a zapnula data, abych vyřídila všechny zprávy, ještě než půjdu vypomáhat na farmě s krávami. K mému překvapení tam byla hromada zpráv jako v době, kdy jsem částečně fungovala jako informátor ohledně otřesů, pohybu magmatu pod povrchem a tak dále. Opět jsem se stala takovou malou telefonní ústřednou. Tentokrát již lidi nepsali ze strachu, co mají dělat či jak se chovat, ale většina z nich psala: ,,Hej! Erupce už začala a ty seš pryč!“ no jo, krávy někdo podojit musí.
Po první části ranní směny, která mi končí v 10:00, zapínám opět telefon a zpráv najednou přibývá. Nyní zprávy typu: ,,Jsi v pořádku? Slyšeli jsme, že tam máte erupci.“
Ano, máme zde konečně vytouženou erupci a prozatím vypadá, že je mírná. To se však může kdykoliv změnit. Proto nikdo nic nepřislibuje, ale pouze informuje o tom, jak se situace má. I ve zprávách dáváme značně najevo, že situace se vlastně vždy může ubírat dvěma směry. K horšímu, či k lepšímu.
Jak jsem již zmiňovala v předešlém článku, nebezpečím jsou hlavně lidé cestující do místa erupce – a že záběry v dopoledních zprávách ukazovaly doslova kolony aut.
Prozatím bezpečná místa, alespoň pro den 20. 03. 2021, jsou dvě. Je doporučeno odstavit auto v místech okolo Blue Lagoon či v jejím blízkém městě Grindavík. Poté se všichni zájemci o tuto show musí přesunout pár kilometrů pěšky do míst, kde se magma vylévá na povrch. Je doporučeno, aby lidé, kteří nejsou dostatečně fyzicky zdatní, na toto místo nechodili, neboť terén může být náročný.
Tato upozornění a místa se však mohou s každým dnem změnit. Velmi záleží na tom, kde konkrétně se magma pod povrchem bude nacházet a kudy se bude prodírat na povrch, jakým směrem bude foukat vítr, což je vlastně velice důležité pro proudění plynů. Dostala jsem se na místo?
Tak, budíček nastaven na 22. 03. 2021 02:30 místního času. Vstávám a z pokoje do auta se odebírám ve 03:30. Kolo naloženo, veškeré boty, vrstvy, jídlo, helma, svítidla, píšťalka, nůž, pláštěnka, kupa jídla s vodou a hlavně foto výbava.
Počasí se mělo zlepšovat, na cestě mne však zastavil místní tým z RUV (televize, noviny), a protože jsem byla v okolí jediný živý tvor, udělali se mnou rozhovor. Při něm mi oznámili, že je momentálně zakázáno do místa jet. Tak to bylo zklamání, vytřeštila jsem do kamery oči, protože jsem to netušila. Jediné, co jsem se dočetla, bylo, že lidé, co tam již byli, byli doslova shánění jako ovečky zpět do bezpečí pomocí všech oficiálních pracovníků či dobrovolníků. Těch tam v tu dobu bylo přibližně 50-100, toto číslo se později zvedlo až na 140.
Počasí nepřálo. Vítr se zvedal na 15 m/s, na místě sněžilo, pršelo. V čas mého příjezdu to bylo klidné (04:20), avšak po otočení vozidla se to rozjelo. Ano, předpověď se změnila. Tak to u nás chodí, počasí se mění rapidně rychle. Ne nadarmo říkáme, že pokud se Ti nelíbí momentální počasí, počkej 5 minut. Emoce byly silné, avšak pocit bezpečí převládá.
Při příjezdu domů jsem byla vyšťavená a do postele jsem se dostala kolem 06:00, po probuzení jsem se dočetla, že údolí je doslova pohlceno plyny. Na jednu stranu jsem ráda, že už nejsem jedním z těch, kteří jdou vždy hlavou proti zdi, ale umí přiznat porážku. S Islandem si není radno zahrávat.
Jelikož opět odjíždím na týden pryč, další příležitost se podívat bude buď v neděli 28.03.2021, nebo pondělí 29.03.2021. Velmi doufám, že se mi pro Vás konečně podaří pořídit skvělé záběry – fotografie i videa.
